Fall Outing

The first outing of the year started off in the parking lot of the Papermill Playhouse. We then walked down the middle of a highway (don't worry, it was conveniently pedestrian only), sometimes being the only humans in sight. Then, there was a small opening to an orange and brown forest, which led deep down into soft leafy trails and little bridges over streams. Finally, we reached a waterfall, and the water was not only plummetting down the waterfall but onto our faces. It was raining! Overall, it was quite a happy time, full of experimentation and observations of the South Mountain Reservation around us.
